Despite remarkably high inflation but supported by an unorthodox monetary policy keeping borrowing rates down and weakening the exchange rate, GDP increased by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 2.1% q/q in real terms in Q2 2022 following a rise of 0.7% q/q in Q1 2022.
