We were able to satisfy the client's needs by presenting a one-stop platform for global economic data as well as India centric data, which included extensive visualisation capabilities and functionalities.
Initially, the CEIC India Premium Database was used by three power users, with the scope to gradually increase the number of users as well as the volume of data offerings (the CEIC Global Database as well as our other Premium Databases).
We brought to the client's attention that with access to deeper and broader India content, along with access to some global Indicators, that they could take on more projects - requiring the level of coverage that CEIC Data contains when compared against its key competitors.
PROBLEM SOLVING
The CEIC Data platform presented deep information coverage and compatibility of data. Our proposition included the following to resolve the client's problems:
- Deeper data coverage on India
- Wide Microsoft Excel capabilities
- Compatibility to Adobe PDF and Microsoft Powerpoint
- Access to our global data (daily database) to support the client's extensive use of our India database.
THE OUTCOME
Before subscribing to CEIC Data, our client needed deeper data coverage on their local market. Once subscribed with us, the client was able to access deeper and broader information on their local market, along with access to some global indicators, allowing for greater flexibility with taking on additional projects.
