Russia Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. GDP declined on a real-terms basis by 1% y/y in Q1 2021, according to a preliminary release from the Federal State Statistics Service (Rosstat), which was less than the estimate from the Ministry of Economic development of -1.3% y/y.
