Philippines Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Philippines Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's Global Database.

 

In Q1 2022, GDP increased in real terms at a rapid pace of 8.3% y/y, accelerating from 7.8% y/y in Q4 2021. Economic growth was driven on a sectoral basis by the industrial and services sectors, and also assisted by a low base.
