What does this quarterly economic report offer?
The Indonesia Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Indonesia Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's Indonesia Premium Database.
In Q1 2021, the smoothed and non-smoothed CEIC Leading Indicators continued to improve, compared with Q4 2020. The smoothed indicator rose to 119.92 in March 2021, from 116.03 and 112.23 in February and January, respectively, and the non-smoothed indicator increased to 121.13, from 114.85 and 110.54. The growth momentum picked up in Q1 2021, after it had slackened at the end of Q4 2020.
