India Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The India Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's India Premium Database.
Bolstered by a low base caused by the pandemic last year, in Q2 2021 (i.e. on a calendar basis, April-June, corresponding to Q1 of fiscal year 2021-2022), India’s real GDP increased by 20.1% y/y after having grown in Q1 2021 by 1.6% y/y.
