Colombia Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Colombia Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's Global Database.

 

The recovery from the pandemic, which led to strong economic growth in 2021, continued throughout the first half of 2022, with the latest national accounts indicating that, in Q2 2022, real GDP increased by a calendar and seasonally adjusted 1.5% q/q and an unadjusted 12.6% y/y, accelerating from 8.6% y/y in Q1 2022.
