Colombia Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publication produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Colombia Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's Global Database and World Trend Plus Database.

Prior to the civil unrest and a third wave of COVID-19, real GDP increased in Q1 2021 by a seasonally adjusted 2.9% q/q and an unadjusted 1.1% y/y following three-quarters of the decline, according to DANE (the national statistical office).
