Brazil Economy in a Snapshot is a quarterly publicatiŠ¾n produced by the CEIC Macroeconomic Research Team. The report is designed to provide a comprehensive, albeit concise overview of the current economic and financial developments. The Brazil Economy in a Snapshot report is produced using data from CEIC's Brazil Premium Database and Global Database.

 

Real GDP increased by 1.9% y/y in Q4 2022, slowing from 3.6% y/y in Q3. This led to a year average growth rate of 2.9% for 2022, down from the post-pandemic bounce of 5.2% in 2021.
